For the entirety of our festival, we’ll be showing some of the latest work of Barbadian artist Sheena Rose at O Cinema. The show is called “Black Obeah” and is presented in collaboration with Trinidad’s Alice Yard and Miami’s PRIZM. It opens on Friday, September 30 with an art reception and panel discussion from 6 – 8pm, with Sheena participating along with festival artist Nadia Huggins, Alice Yard’s Christopher Cozier, and Dr. Patricia Saunders of the University of Miami.
